Dragonest Auto Chess spinoff
AutoChess Moba is a free-to-play strategy game that serves as a spinoff of the Dragonest Auto Chess game. Unlike its predecessor which is a turn-based team battle game, this is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. As such, it draws from the same franchise, giving players the same heroes, but having a different gameplay and map.

In terms of gameplay, AutoChess Moba shares a lot of similarities with other MOBA titles like Mobile Legends Bang Bang or Garena AOV - Arena of Valor: Action MOBA. Its main disadvantage at the moment is its small selection of heroes.
A MOBA treat for Auto Chess fans
As an Auto Chess spinoff, AutoChess Moba draws from the same lore and pool of heroes. This 5-vs-5 online multiplayer has characters such as the Egersis Ranger or the Redaxe Chief. However, while AutoChess has over 70 characters, its MOBA spinoff only has a dozen of them available. It will take some time before other heroes enter the fray. Also, in this version, heroes are distributed across different roles.
It feels like a reskinned version of other MOBA games, which screams unoriginal while making this game intuitive to fans of the franchise. Character designs aside, the gameplay has the same controls. You have four skills for every hero, plus a basic attack button, including those creeps and tower focus. One advantage it has, however, is that its medium graphics settings look like high settings for MLBB.
Lastly, the map is largely based on DOTA 2. While the fog of war is present, there are no bushes that provide stealth and cover for players. One unique feature of this MOBA title is the presence of two orbs that rewards the teams that can capture them, similar to the runes in DOTA 2. This somehow makes the game more interesting.
An upcoming MOBA with room for growth
AutoChess Moba only serves as a reskinned alternative to larger MOBA games like MLBB or AoV. Aside from the presence of two orbs in the river and the lack of bushes common among other titles, there’s not much to expect from this Auto Chess spinoff. It has a limited selection of heroes and the item meta is basically the same once you get to know the heroes you’re using.
